Armour

All of my costume and armour items are made to order to the customer's own requirements.
This presents us with a world of possibility, if you want something special making, I can normally accommodate. Below, there are a few examples of work that I've undertaken in the past.

Body Armour - £120.00


Based on the body armour worn in the movie 'Blade'. The armour is made of black 'nubuck' with nylon webbing and clips to make it fully adjustable. Alternately, if you like the design, but want something a little more in keeping with a fantasy setting, you could decide to choose the blade body armour with buttons and buckle detailing as shown. Exactly the same pattern, but with leather straps and chromed buckles instead of the standard webbing and clips.

Pair Plain Vambrace - £12.50

Vambraces protect the lower arm/wrist. The plain style is unornamented with standard brass eyelets for lacing. They are made in either light , medium or heavy leather - your choice.

Pair Special Vambrace - £17.50

As above but you choose the fastening - buckles, lacing, press studs.

Pictured are to the left light weight studded purple nubuck vambrace. Perfect for LARP.

To the right heavy weight brown leather vambrace, suitable for re-enactment.

Portcullis LRP vambrace - £22.50

A new design from the Shades leather. They have two thickneses of leather and feel very comfortable. They are designed to fit spell cards beneath the bars of the portcullis for easy access when they are needed most.

Jointed Mitt - £25.00 (each)

For righties or lefties (please specify your dominant hand or order a pair). The mitt protects the hand as well as the lower arm. Normally used on the dominant hand (the one you grip your sword with).

Special vambrace for the lower leg! Please note, the raised dome studs do not come as standard on the special grieves.
